HypomoneStudio

About

Small enough to care. Capable enough to build.

A digital studio that starts from the business problem and decides the solution with you.

hypomonē

Greekperseverance

It is the quality of staying with something difficult until it is actually resolved, rather than until it is merely finished. That is the standard the studio took its name from, and the one it is held to: stay with a problem until the answer is right.

How we decide things.

01

Business before technology

The first question is never which framework. It is what this has to do for the business, and every technical decision follows from the answer.

02

Problem before features

A feature that cannot be traced back to a real problem does not get built, however good it would look in a demo.

03

Custom over generic

Different customers, different goals, different workflows. A template decides the answer before anyone has read the question.

04

Conversation before quotation

Scope, timeline, and price come after the problem is understood. Quoting first would mean guessing, and guessing gets paid for by you.

05

Honest, but confident

No invented numbers, no borrowed credibility, no proof that cannot be opened and checked. Every claim on this site points at something you can look at.

Character

Meet Hypo.

The studio’s character, and a fair description of how it works. Minimal in style, maximal in result.

Focused

One question runs through every decision: what does this have to do for the business?

Detail-oriented

Spacing, wording, loading speed. The small things are what customers actually feel.

Modern and minimal

Current tools, restrained design, built to still look right in three years.

Problem solver

If a website is not the right answer, we will say so and build what is.

Things we don’t do.

Not modesty. These are rules, and they are the reason the rest of the site looks the way it does.

  • Invent clients, testimonials, or results
  • Sell a package before understanding the problem
  • Publish a price list that decides your scope for you
  • Promise search rankings we cannot control
  • Add features because they demo well
  • Hand over a folder of files and call it a launch

The rest is easier to explain in a conversation.

Tell us what isn’t working in your business. You don’t need a brief, a specification, or a budget in mind.

Hypo, the studio’s character, at a laptop with a message bubble beside him

Tell us what isn’t working.

No brief needed. A few lines about the problem is enough to start, and we’ll take it from there.
